WOW!!!! What a night we had in the Lord’s house tonight.  Our oldest Pastor’s son Phillip got saved tonight.  What a blessing and an answer to prayer that was.  The devil lost another soul tonight.  Welcome to the family of God Phillip.

Tonight we had Bro. John Melton with us for our Awesome Preaching in August meeting.  Bro. Melton preached out of Titus 2:11-14 on “Saved From What?”  The greatest experience we can ever have is getting saved.  If there is no change, there is no salvation – 1 Corinthians 5:17.  We are not to run, but we are to STAND!  God puts the desires in our heart to live right after we get saved, the Devil sure doesn’t do that.  Salvation is deliverance.  Jesus redeemed us from our sin.  God saved us from some things and He saved us to some things.  We are saved from ever knowing the pains of eternal judgment.  We will never feel the pains of hell.  We will never know what the flames of hell feel like. Oh how thankful we should be for this promise.  We are saved from the power of our own sinful nature.  God can save anyone.  No one is too far gone to get saved.  The power of the old nature is gone when we get saved.  We are what we are today by the grace of God.  If we get alone with God, He will teach us what grace is.  We just need to slow down and get to know God.  We need to take the time to get to know Him.  We met Him at salvation; we really need to get to know Him after salvation.  Spend time with God, and He’ll come to us.  God delights in ALL of His children.  Do we hunger for the power of God in our lives?  We are saved from the pollution of this world – 2 Peter 1:4 and Rom. 6:20.  The power of sin was broken in our life when we got saved and for the first time in our life we can tell the tempter NO!  Let the Devil know you’ve escaped and we are not going that way any longer.  Walk with God and we will have sin.  We are saved from the possibility of missing heaven.  Heaven won’t be complete until we get there.  Through Jesus we have eternal salvation and eternal redemption.  We came to Him believing and repenting.  There has to be repentance.   It’s impossible for a child of God to go to Hell, and impossible for a child of God to miss heaven.  Are you saved? Are you born again? If you are to go to heaven and miss the flames of hell, you have to be saved.  You have to be born again and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your heart and save you?
