It sure was a blessing to be able to go to church tonight and to be among God’s people and to hear a message from God.

Tonight Pastor preached out of Psalm 133:1-3 on “Wasting Our Blessings.” Our blessings come from being obedient to God. We waste the blessing of unity. If we dwell in unity God will put His blessing on it and us. There has to be unity in order for there to be a blessing from God. If we want God’s blessing on our lives, we must strive to dwell in unity. If we are going to have unity, we must have unity in ourselves – Ephesians 6:10-17. To whip the devil we must have unity in our life. Unity makes things pleasant. If the church is not in unity, the world will know it and see it. We should strive for unity in our marriage in our home. If our marriage is not in unity, the church will not be in unity. What is unity like? It is like God’s ointment that He made special and no one can duplicate it. God is the only one that can make unity, man cannot make unity. If we are going to have unity it has to be on our mind, and we need to be mature, and we need it in our ministry. If there is no unity, work at it and fix it. Unity is compared to dew in these verses. True unity will be kept in the dark times of our lives. Dew keeps the grass growing when there is not rain. Unity should be our #1 desire for our life. Also we waste the blessing in our unfaithfulness – Proverbs 28:20. Faithfulness will abound to our account. If we stay faithful God will bless us. We should stay faithful, and always abound in the work of the Lord. We need to stay faithful, don’t get out, don’t give up, and remember that we are susceptible to falling. We should be careful because we can mess up and we can fall. We do not need to be over confident in our self because if God doesn’t help us, we are not going to make it. We are not going to remain faithful. What do our children know about our faithfulness? Stay faithful no matter what comes. There’s no telling how God can bless out life because of simply being faithful. We take for granted the blessings of faithfulness. If we stay faithful, the blessings will come. Are we wasting our blessings?
