Dr. Ronald Young has been preaching over 35 years and has been pastoring over 30 years at Antioch Baptist Church.  Dr. Young is a graduate of Tabernacle Baptist Bible College in Greenville, SC.  In 2005, He earned his Doctorate from Carolina Baptist Bible College in Concord, NC.  He also has an Honorary Doctorate from Faith Baptist Institute in Resaca, GA.  He and his wife, Jan, have five children. All of their children are grown and are serving God in the ministry. They have two sons who are preachers; the oldest, Ronald E. Young is the pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church in Cleveland, North Carolina, where he and his wife Belinda have been for 10 years.  The youngest son, David Young, is the Assistant Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Harlem, Georgia. He and his wife, Stephanie, represent the printing ministry of Antioch Baptist Press.

Dr. & Sis. Young also have three daughters.  The oldest daughter, Deborah, is married to Bill South,  Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Warrenton, Georgia.   The second daughter, Ruth, is married to Stephen Weaver, who is currently attending Antioch Baptist Bible Institute.  The youngest daughter, Grace, is married to Stacey Shiflett, Pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina.  Dr. Young and Sis. Jan have 19 grandchildren.
