“3 Things We Should Be Doing in Serving the Lord”

We are all called to be a servant because we can all be a servant.
There is honor in serving the Lord.
- We should be influencing others around us.
We will always be around others and influencing them.
We will influence others by the way we live, by our life style, and by the testimony that we bear.
1 Timothy 4:12
We should be an example to the believer, and we should be a testimony to this lost and dying world.
Somebody needs our influence.
We are drawing someone to the cross, blocking them, or sending them the other way.
If we are not influencing someone right, our serving is not right.
- We should be involving in the service.
To serve we have to be the one to serve. It is our choice to serve or not.
Others cannot live our life for us.
Nobody can give our life to the Lord but us.
Colossians 3:17, 23
James 1:22-25
Jesus has saved us to serve from the heart.
There are not enough Christians surrendering to the Lord and His work.
- We should be informing the lost world.
Most people do not know what we know.
If we have a hole in our life, Jesus is the One that can fill that hole in our life.
We can inform the world on how to be saved.
Philippians 2:5-8
Jesus went to Calvary for me and for you.
Jesus died for every sin of mankind.
Salvation was finished at Calvary.
God wants us to get closer to Him.
God wants us to love Him more.
God wants us to come back to Him if we are out of fellowship with Him.
God’s arms are open wide with love for us to come to Him.
He wants to live through our life today.
