“How did you get to Jesus?”
Mark 2:1-12

Jesus did not need the faith of the man on the bed; He needed the faith of the others. The lame man’s faith did not heal him; the faith of the others is what healed him.
No obstacle got in their way to get help for their friend.
- The grace of God – v. 1
Jesus had been there before and he did not get help at that time. God had grace on him and came by again.
We are where we are spiritually because of the God’s grace.
Jesus passes by us again to rekindle the fire in our hearts.
When he met the Lord he was a different person.
The grace of God gave him a second chance.
God gave the others another chance to hear the Word of God being preached.
God may have you where you are at today so you can hear the Word of God again.
The grace of God is still working whether it is received or not.
- There were some distractions – v. 2
Sin will complicate our whole life.
The devil will do anything to distract us.
The devil will use any distraction to get us away from church where our help is out.
The devil will give every distraction to keep us from getting saved.
- They were dedicated – v. 2
They were sold out to God and dedicated to getting this man the help that he needed.
Be dedicated, sold-out to God.
The world needs Christians that are dedicated and sold-out to God.
Being faithful in the ministry is what pays off.
- The delivery – v. 4
Jesus had to deal with his sin before he was healed.
Our sin has to be dealt with when we come to Jesus.
We will get nowhere with God until our sin is dealt with totally.
His life was different with he left Jesus that day.
Our life should be different when we meet the Lord.
BUS MINISTRY UPDATE:
We had 22 kids to ride the bus this morning, what a blessing it is to see them coming faithfully each week to church. Pray that more kids and families will be reached through the bus ministry of our church.
