“Oh What a Change in my Life”
1 Timothy 1:11-17

Paul could not believe God would use someone like him with his past.
Paul had a before and after in his life
If we are not careful we will forget the before past of our life.
Paul had a change in his character.
- Changed the way he talked
Blaspheme – Speak evil; speak slanderous, ways against the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
Paul at one time saw himself as a very religious person.
If you do not believe the doctrines of God you are being blasphemous.
Religion almost sent Paul to Hell.
- Changed the trail he was on
When you are lost you are an enemy against God.
He hated God and did not even know it.
Paul did not care who he hurt.
You do not realize all that God has saved you from.
He was dedicated to a false god.
All you do ought to honor God. God’s ways are not your ways.
You pull God to your level and you are in trouble.
- Changed his tone
At one time he wronged people. He was ashamed of how he treated people.
He injured some people for life.
At one time he did not care who he hurt.
Saved people have a hard time hurting other people.
- Changed his tragedy.
He obtained mercy of God.
He thought he was doing right for God be he was miserable.
Mercy – A blessing received because of a divine favor. Compassion shown to an offender.
Paul could not believe God had shown him mercy.
If he had not had mercy, he would have ended in tragedy.
He was an enemy against God, yet he found mercy.
Our sin nailed Jesus to the cross.
You think of the power of God when you think of the mercy of God.
God can save you and change your life and turn you around.
God sees what you can be for Him.
