“You Can Change”
Proverbs 6:6-10

A breath of fresh air will do you no good if you are not looking for it.
You can change.
You do not have to stay a sluggard.
You do not have to stay the same.
The ant is very detailed.
- Have to depart from your position – “Go”
Go – Depart from where you are at.
You cannot live saying “this is how I am”.
A sluggard does nothing about his situation, he’s just sorry.
Do not stay the same.
You get lazy in some areas of your life.
You do not want to have to move and get up and get out of your comfort zone.
- Look at where you are at – “thou sluggard”
Does the Word of God ever pin your life in areas where you are at that you are sluggish in?
If you only talk about something, you will never get it done. If you talk about change and never do anything about it, you will never change.
Your problem is we get comfortable where we are at.
If you get aggravated about where you are at you will change, but not until then.
The ant has a goal in mind; nothing stops them from getting the job done.
- Inspect what she is doing – “consider her ways”
The ant’s ways are organized.
The only way to stop an ant is to kill it.
No obstacle whether big or small will stop an ant.
If you stay the same it is your fault.
You are the one that misses out because you are too sorry.
Quit making excuses for how you are.
Watch what the ant does, and how she does it.
The ant gathers in the summer to prepare for the winter.
You should gather in the summer while you can for the days of winter are coming.
- “Be wise”
The ant does not have to have a guide or a king.
The ant knows her job and she is doing to do it.
You can live for God without the preacher; you do not have to have the preacher to live for God.
The ants all do their job without being told to do it.
Do your part and do it well.
The ant has a goal or a mission.
You have an option to continue like you are, or to say “God, you’re right” and go and change how you are.
What all does God want you to do, yet you miss so many details in your life because you become lazy spiritually.
Follow the path of the ant and you will know where they are going.
Can others follow your path and see where you are going? The ant is not ashamed of her way, are you ashamed of the path you are on?
Are you doing the plan God has for you to do, and are you doing it?
Winter time is coming, you better prepare now while it is summer and you can prepare.
