“The Spirit Filled Person”

Are you filled with the Spirit now?
The Holy Ghost is the most sensitive person. You are not having revival because you quench the Spirit of God.
Stephen was a man that was full of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is given to you so you can show others God through your life.
The secret of Stephen’s life and testimony is that he was full of the Holy Ghost.
Being full of the Holy Ghost is God’s plan for your life.
You cannot be filled until you are empty of yourself.
- Available to the Lord for whatever He appoints.
God speaks to you through the Word of God.
Are you available to the Lord to do whatever He wants you to do?
You are quenching the Holy Ghost because you are not available to God.
Are you selective in what you are willing to do for the Lord, like most people today?
A Spirit-filled Christian will be Christ-like.
Are you available if the church needs to fill a position?
Every job in the church is important.
2 Samuel 15:15
You should be willing to do anything.
- Channel for the working power of God.
You should be a channel through which God works.
Be a channel so that God can use you to touch others and to help others.
God will give evidence of a Spirit-filled life through a transformed life.
You are in church today because of the grace of God on your life.
Your labor is not in vain in the Lord. God will let you see the fruit of your labor at times.
- Reacts gracefully under provocation.
Spiritual things should come out of your mouth.
If you are filled with the Spirit, spiritual things will come out when you go through a time of provocation.
If you are Spirit filled you will not tear others down to lift yourself up.
It just takes one statement, how will you react?
Your faith will be tested and your testimony will be criticized. What will your reaction be when it is?
- Mighty in the Scriptures.
Memorizing the Word of God is very important and should be important in your life.
Stephen’s speech was packed with Scripture.
Do you know and love the Word of God.
Do you believe, proclaim, and apply the Scriptures to your life?
- Jesus is your Lord and Master.
You should be like the Lord Jesus.
- Greatly lamented when he died – 8:2
What a loss on earth to lose Stephen that day.
Will you be lamented when you die because of having a Spirit-filled life?
To be filled with the Spirit you have to empty yourself of self, sin, and all that is displeasing to the Lord.
You are commanded to be filled with the Spirit.
Are you filled with the Spirit of God?
