“It Matters Who You Marry”
2 Chronicles 21:1-6

The main detail of Jehoram’s life is found in these sets of verses.
Jehoram married wrong and married a very wicked woman.
Jehoram was as wicked as he was because of who he married.
- 1 it looks like Jehoram was going to be like his dad, but Jehoram had a wife.
It looked good when he started.
Ahab still has daughters, and Ahab still has sons.
The devil has a daughter or a son of Ahab to put in your life.
Jehoram’s wife was his downfall.
Marry out of God’s will and there will be many troubles and disappointments in your life.
Parents, if you do not agree with who your children are dating, say something to them.
- 4 Jehoram is only interested in himself. He was the focal point of his life.
He was making a name for himself.
He destroyed everything that resembled God to him.
A person that marries out of God’s will is full of bitterness.
A person that marries out of God’s will they will destroy everything that resembles God in their life.
- 13 His brethren was better men than himself.
You can say “you’ll never do it”, but you better be careful.
- 16 Is not a compliment. He took on idolatry; he tried to be like everyone else.
Ahab’s children are everywhere.
Find a mate that loves the Lord and is faithful in serving the Lord.
Vs. 18-20 He died at the judgment hand of God.
The curse he brought on his life, his wife killed all his kids but one.
Jehoram messed up. That one mistake would haunt his family and haunt God’s people.
