“Where Are You Going To Die?”

Numbers 13:25-33

What was it an evil report?

It promoted doubt and despair – 14:1

It promoted discouragement – 14:2

It prompted disobedience – 14:3

It produced death – 14:36-38

There will always be an evil report when the will of God is before you.

You listen and give heed more to the evil report than you do to God.

How often do you gravitate to evil reports?

2 Crowds were mentioned in vs. 30-31

There was the crowd that sad we are well able.

There was the crowd that said we be not able.

Most people do not believe that the world can be evangelized today.

Evangelizing the world is possible and easy today.

God has never given the church a command that it cannot accomplish.

You have got to stop saying “it can’t be done” and start saying “it can be done.”

Stop looking at the giants and the walled cities and start looking to God.

They would rather have died in Egypt or in the wilderness than to die in the land of Canaan in the will of God.

You will die in 1 of 3 places:

Egypt – the world, lost

Wilderness – Saved but out of the will of God and defeated

Land of Canaan – in the will of God and victorious.

Their attitude was they wanted to die anywhere else than in the will of God.

People are afraid to go to the mission field because they are afraid they would die on the mission field.

You are not scared of dying; you are just scared of dying where God wants you.

You do not know when you are going to die, but one day you will.  Where are you going to die?

In the will of God or in the wilderness out of God’s will for your life?

Where do you want to die?

You have the opportunity to choose where you die!

Only hope for the lost world is Christians living in obedience to God for their life.

What those in the wilderness were known for was: murmuring and materialism.

What will your choice be? Where are you going to die?
