“Fruit of the Spirit”
Galatians 5:22-23

The fruit of the Spirit is not an option for the Christian. It resides in your life. It may not be seen like it should, but it is there.
The Spirit of God will let you know it is there.
The fruit of the Spirit is the opposite of the works of the flesh.
- Love – speaks not of our love, phileo love, but the love of God which is agape love.
Romans 5:8 is a verse that speaks of the love of God.
This love loves whether love is given back or not; and loves you even when you’re His enemy.
God wants your love to be like his love.
It not about you, but it’s about Him.
The fruit of love ought to be evident in your life.
God loves you even though He knows just how bad you are.
He wants this love displayed in your life.
It should scare you when it is not displayed like it should.
- Joy
The world tries to seek after pleasures to fill the joy in their life.
It is natural to have joy in your life if you are a Christian.
Pleasure and happiness is surrounded by circumstances; when your circumstances change so does your pleasure and happiness.
Real joy does not have to be worked up in the life of a Christian.
True joy comes from within.
Joy is your strength; the joy of the Lord is your strength.
- Peace
The world has a peace, but it does not last very long.
The peace of a Christian will never go away; it will last through all eternity.
Peace just comes natural for a Christian, it will last you your whole life.
The world cannot explain the peace of a Christian and the world cannot give you the peace of God.
What the world thinks or considers to be peace cannot be obtained.
The peace of God passes all understanding.
