“How to Make It through Famine”
Genesis 41:14-16, 29-33, 45-57

Spiritual famine will happen in your life eventually, and it will happen more than once.
To make it through that famine time, you have to be prepared.
- Your life set to survival mode.
Everything mattered before the famine came to Joseph.
Package everything you can while things are going good, so you’re ready when famine comes.
Use every chance, and every message you hear to help you later in the famine time. Store it all up.
You can’t pack up too much stuff.
While the handfuls are coming, you better pack them up.
If God moves in your life write it down, don’t forget it.
- Get over the hurts in the good time – v. 52
You’re going to get hurt. Let God sooth your heart to get over it.
If you don’t get over the hurt, you’ll have to deal with the hurts and the famine at the same time.
Hurts come from the most unlikely places and people.
Your family will hurt you the most.
- Get fruitful where you’re at.
Bloom where you’re planted.
Be fruitful in the ministry God has for your life.
Be faithful in what you do.
