“What Dirt Does The Devil Have On You?”
Luke 8:9-15

There are three types of people in church this morning:
Those that were made to be here by someone else
Those that are here because the preacher wants you to be here
Those that are here because you want to serve God
- Wayside
To deal with someone who has the heart of a wayside soil, you have to understand the soil and the soil is in need of in their lives.
Just because the ground is hard and not fertile, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t sow.
Go back over time and time again and never get up on them.
Care enough to break up the hard ground.
In order to make progress on someone with hard soil, you have to repeat over and over again.
- Rocky soil
Rocky soil you can pull it out one year, and it will come back the next year.
The stones have to be pulled up over and over again.
Help remove the stones in others lives so that the Word of God can work and stick in their lives. Remove the stones, that which keeps them from receiving the Word of God fully in their hearts.
Does God know you? It’s not about you knowing God, but does God know you?
The sign of someone with rocky soil is someone who is trying to feed the flesh.
You are still required to sow on stony ground.
Stones are the hindrances in your life and the lives of others.
- Thorny ground
Those that have thorny ground in their heart are saved, yet the cares of this life choke out the Word of God. The cares of this world has gotten a hold of their heart and choking out everything godly.
The devil knows where to hurt you the most.
Help others and yourself get rid of the cares that are chocking you.
Don’t get discouraged at folks.
NEVER give up.
- Good ground
Anybody can plant good soil.
You will not get the good soil until you get rid of the thorns; and you won’t get rid of the thorns until you pull up the stones; and you won’t pull up the stones until you plow the hard ground.
You are to witness to everyone.
You are to plant the seed everywhere.
Jesus suffered on the cross to you wouldn’t have to taste the flames of hell.
To reach them, you have to love them.
BUS MINISTRY UPDATE:
WOW is all I can say for this morning. Today we had a record breaking number in attendance this morning on the bus routes. We had a total of 67 this morning that came. The Columbia County route had 15 riders with 3 of them being adults this morning. The McDuffie County route had 52 riders with 4 of them being first time riders and they had 1 adult. Needless to say church was packed this morning, but that is good, we loved every minute of it. What a privilege and honor it is to reach these through the bus ministry that God has allowed us to be a part of.
