She was not able to impress her lovers without the stuff in her closet.

When we make stumbling blocks, we are storing them in our closet if we do not get rid of them.

When we make provisions for the flesh, we pull them out of our closet full of stumbling blocks.

John 21:3 – Lesson is to cut the ropes of our stumbling blocks.

  1. It will hinder and affect your worship to God.

Your prayer life will change.

You’ll trust someone else to take care of you instead of God.

Your past will hinder your worship if you do not put it behind you and break the ties.

The first tell-tell sign that you are pulling things out of your closet is when your worship to God changes.

  1. Things that were hidden hindered her love.

She pulled out the things that were need for her to look like a harlot again.

Those things in the closet caused her love to return to the things of her past.

The world wants us to put on these things that are worldly.

She attracted the wrong kind of admirers with her decking’s.

No commitment, as long as there is an option in your life.

If you don’t clean out the closet, you’ll bring it out the next time you have an argument with God, or things don’t go your way.

She attracted everything and everyone but God.

You are trying to impress your old nature when you pull the things out of your jewelry box.

The closet is hurting your life, clean it out!

  1. God’s watching as you do it.

She runs after her lover as if he’s not there watching her.

God is seeing you loving someone or something else other than Him.

You’ll forget God as if He didn’t even exist when you pull those things out of the closet.

Are you living your life to please yourself and be #1, or are you living your life to please God and make God #1 in your life?

Are you living to impress others or are you living to impress God?

The choice is yours.  You can either keep the closet full, or you can empty it out and cut the ropes for good.

What is your choice?
