“Don’t Leave Your Song”

This is the restoring of Israel in these verses.

God gives her her joy back – vs. 15 (the vineyard).

Ashor – a place of trouble – gives her hope back.

Joy brings back restoration that of the songs she used to sing.

Out of Egypt – means a transformed life.

She begins to once again call on the Lord.

  1. Not because of the way it used to be.

God is doing everything He can to lure her back to Him.

The closer she get to Him, the songs started coming back.

The songs were not the same, she forgot some of the lyrics, and the meaning of the songs had changed.

  1. The blessings of what it used to be.

She forgot the blessings of the Lord but remembered them as she drew closer to the Lord.

She had walked away from the Lord, but she could never get over their song.

The songs now will mean more to her now than it used to.

Every time she sings the songs, she is reminded of how things were before she went after other lovers.

The world will take your song, and you’ll never sing it again like you used to.

She sings with the memories of what she did in the world.

The tune of the world will not line up with the tune of the Lord.

You start singing, you’ll start remembering.
