- The command – you must obey if you are to be successful in what you do
Canaan Land was a picture of a land of joy, the presence of God, the victorious Christian life, the Promised Land.
If you’re going to live the Christian life victoriously, you’re going to have to do all the commandments of the Lord.
No place like being where God wants you to be.
Do you have aspirations to go further with God than you are now spiritually?
- The consideration – must be made
Consider what you do before you do it.
You must consider there is a chastening hand of God when you go your own way and do your own thing.
You can do what you want to do but there is a chastening hand that will come into your life.
Though God chastens, He still loves you.
- The crops – will grow
God will take you places you’ve never been if you keep the commandments of God.
Serve God and He will take care of you and bless you and let you go places you never though you could go with Him.
- The caution – Forget not the Lord thy God
God did so much for them, but He warned them not to forget.
God has blessed you; don’t forget Him and what He has done in your life.
Don’t take His blessings for granted.
Success brings a lapse of memory.
Don’t let anything cause you to forget the Lord. If you’re not careful it will happen.
Get careless and you don’t listen to the cautions of God.
Your problem is you take credit for everything that you do and have done in your life.
Don’t forget that it is God that has gotten you to where you’re at today.
- The covenant – made with His people
What will happen if you do not do what you’re supposed to do is there will be judgment on your life.
God will keep on taking care of you if you do what God says to do.
Your life will be beautiful and bountiful, and blessed if you will just follow Him.
