“Sending a Message Back To Moab”
Ruth 1:1-22

There is nice people living in Moab, and there are churches in the land of Moab as well.
A word gets back to Bethlehem about what happens in Moab.
Moab always sends the message.
Naomi heard in Moab what was going on in Bethlehem.
We as Christians need to send a message to the land of Moab.
- A distance of the message.
The distance of the message was about 30-60 miles.
The message, God is still making bread in Bethlehem.
Let the message be clear, that God shows up in Bethlehem.
- The distinction of the message.
It was all of Bethlehem that had bread.
The bread of Moab is not the same as the bread of Bethlehem.
There was bread; God was the One making the bread in Bethlehem.
No matter how bad it gets in Bethlehem, it is still better than the best of Moab.
Homes are still being helped in Bethlehem.
You need help; your help lies here in Bethlehem.
- A directness of the message
There is work going on, and the Lord is the One doing the work.
Send message that God is still working in the church.
She never forgot the bread of the land of Bethlehem.
- The drawing of the message
It was enough for her to desire to go back to Bethlehem.
Nothing held her in Moab.
She didn’t care about the danger of travelling, or what others would say about her in Bethlehem, she just wanted to get back.
Don’t ever forget how bad it is in Moab, but don’t forget how good it still is in Bethlehem.
