I. The need for the Lamb. Gen 3:
A. Because of the fall of man.
B. Because of sin. Heb. 10:
The sacrifice only lasted for a year.
The sacrifice God gave lasts forever.
Christ is the propitiation for our sins in the past. Rom. 3:25
II. The ministry of the lamb.
A. Sacrifical Lamb – Lev.
Daily sarifices – Twice a Day
It was very important to God for sin to be covered all the time.
B. Sanctifying Lamb.
It sanctified the Priest.
God wants you to be sanctified and set apart for his use.
C. Passover Lamb.
The blood of this lamb was placed on the door post and those inside were safe
III. The name of the Lamb.
That was God’s lamb.
This was a personal Lamb.
