“Don’t Take For Granted the Leftovers”

Luke 15:11-24

The son did not care about the feelings of his dad.

He was unthankful for what he had.

He was selfish with his inheritance.

He thought he could handle his money better than his dad.

He left with a crowd but came home alone.

He rebelled by the decision that he made.

It was a big deal to get an inheritance in his day.

He did not recognize the blessings of God on his life every day.

How many times do you forget the leftovers God has given to you every single day?

If the leftovers mean nothing to you, you’ll start looking at the far country.

  1. His father had plenty

God has given you everything you need plus more than you don’t realize.

God has plenty of things for you.

You don’t really realize all that you do have.

  1. There were plenty of servants.

He took the servants for granted that was at his house.

He had friends that truly cared about him there at the house.

He was alone in the hog pen; his so-called friends of the world had left him.

He remembered his true friends were the servants in his house.

How often do you take your true friends for granted?

Never take your friends for granted.

Never mully grub about what you don’t have and what you do have.

  1. There was plenty of bread leftover.

Your leftovers are overflowing.

The leftovers can change your life if you will let them.

Realize your leftovers, and you will see how much you have been blessed.

The little lad would have told you the leftovers were worth it.

You forget what you don’t have because you don’t realize all that you do have.

Until you need it the leftovers do not mean anything to you.

By not forgetting the leftovers is how you will make it in 2019.
