Mark 5:18-20
You can do your job for God where you are at; you have no excuse for doing nothing for god.
You have to start taking responsibility for your spiritual life. You are what you are spiritually today because of you and your choices.
- Keep up
Keep – To attend carefully; to take care of; to guard.
Revelation 2:1-4
What a great testimony the church had in verses 1-3.
Yet, while they were doing great and having a great testimony, they left their first love in v. 4
While you’re working, don’t lose your first love.
Keep your memory right; in remembering who He is and His love for you.
If you left your first love, it is because you made a conscious decision to do so.
You have to guard your love for God and keep your eyes focused on God, because the world wants your first love.
Guard it to let God know you love Him.
- Look up
Full manifestation of eternal life.
Look for the day that your faith will become a reality, it will become sight.
One day you will get to see for yourself just what Heaven and God is like.
The love of God abides forever.
One day it will all become a reality.
Looking – to except, the fulfillment of a promise.
One day God will come back, or else you will go by the grave, but if you’re saved your faith will become sight. You’ll be able to enjoy the blessings of Heaven, and see exactly what John and Paul saw.
