The blog is back up and running once again.  I am currently in the process of updating the website and putting new pictures up and everything.  I am also learning the new layout design and how to work the back end of the website.  So, please continue to bear with me as I am learning the website layout and putting up new items as well.

We had a great service tonight, and the Lord really helped us tonight through the preaching of the Word of God.  Pastor preached out of Jude and verse 20 on “Which Direction Are You Building?  Pastor read from Matthew 7:24-27 and used these verses as a help toward his message.  As a Christian we do not need to stay dormant in our life, but we need to build up our life.  The rain will one day come in our life, and if we are not building we are going to be in trouble spiritually.  A flood will come in our life one day spiritually, and because of that we need to continue to build up our life as well.  The wind will also come, and we need to be busy building.  In building up our life we need to be a conscious builder.  We do not build things that move, we build things that stay put.  We have to be conscious about what we are building in our life.  If we are not conscious we will not build while the sun is shining.  We will fall by the wayside because we are too busy polishing instead of building.  We are weak in our Christian life because we are not in the Word of God like we need to be.  We build our life by the Word of God.  Also in building up our life we need to be constantly building.  It is a progress that happens every day of our life.  We spiritually cannot afford to miss one day of building.  There will never come a time in our life when we need to quit building.  The day that we need to quit building is the day that we die.  To keep the value of our life up, we have to keep it up, we have to do maintenance work on it and keep building.  Thirdly in building up our life there needs to be some consecration in our building.  We need to have a life that is sacred, that is set apart from the world.  We will never be able to pray in the Holy Ghost if we are not spending time praying.  Our prayers mean nothing if we are not building and reading in the Word of God daily.  The life that we are building should be sacred.  Lastly, in building our life, we should be collective in our building.  When we build right, others will watch our building, and it will cause them to build right.  When we build right, we will give strength to others who are building behind us.  We need to strive to be more than we are.

How are you building your life today spiritually?  Are you even building up your life? Is there a desire to build up your life?  If you are saved and if you desire to do anything for God, there should be a desire in your life to build.  Will your life stand when the rain, the flood, and the wind come, or will it fall apart?  It will stand if you have been building right, but it will fall apart if you’ve not been building right, or if you have not been building at all.  Which direction are you building?  How are you building?
