Job is living one verse at a time.

There are times that will come into your life when you don’t know what to do.

Usually your first impulse is usually what you shouldn’t do.

No move is better than the wrong move.

  1. Wait

No move is better than the wrong move.

When waiting on God, it is not wasting time.

Isaiah 40:31 – There is a future in waiting on God.

  1. a) Renew their strength

God knows your make up and that you get weary.

God plans waiting time in your life to renew your strength.

  1. b) Mount up with wings as eagles

You can fly with the eagles again when you wait on God and have your strength renewed.

  1. c) They shall run and not be weary – speed.

You will again be running the race that God has set before you.

  1. d) They shall walk and not faint – steadfastness

Renewed strength will give you the strength you need to walk your race and not faint.

  1. Watch
  2. a) Yourself first

Not careful what you think is right.

Never make a decision on the mountain top or in the deepest valley.

Make sure it is God leading you.

Make sure your flesh doesn’t take over and steer you wrong.

  1. b) Your so-called friends.

If your friends don’t know what to do with their life, they don’t need to be telling you what to do with your life.

God speaks to you individually; you can go to God by yourself.

  1. c) Satan’s fiery darts

Do not judge the will of God by circumstances

Stay with the Word of God.

  1. d) Saviour’s faithfulness

You’ll find Jesus; He’ll show up, in the midst of your suffering and trials.

  1. Worship

Worship is always open season.

Check in with God, and worship.

Job worshipped when:

  1. a) His wife was growling

Just because others get upset with you doesn’t mean you stop.

  1. b) His materialism was gone

God is always good.

  1. c) His misery was great

Even in pain, he worshipped.

When in pain, you can still worship.

Be careful what you base your worship on.

  1. d) Because he had the peace of reconciliation

Salvation is settled by grace, through faith in the blood of Jesus.

  1. e) Because he had the promise of the resurrection.

Job 19 – He knew his Redeemer lived.

Job might have thought he was going to die, and could face death with the knowledge that his redeemer lived.

  1. f) Perception of the Redeemer.

Can’t see Him or feel Him sometimes, but He is there.

When you can’t see Him, He see’s you.
