“You Need a Miracle”
Luke 17:11-19

Leprosy is always a type of sin in the Bible.
Their leprosy was bad but it had not stopped any of their functions yet.
Leprosy, if you do not get it taken care of will take over your eye-sight, your walk, your speech, etc.
You need to cry out “Lord have mercy on me!!”
- It focused on them
Jesus went to that village for them.
He knew they had a problem, and He was the only One that could help them.
The only thing that can help you is a miracle from God.
The world cannot give you the help you need to fix your problems.
- It was known by others
God will not help you until you realize you need His help.
They knew He was there somehow.
There was a response from them before there was a response from the Lord.
You choose to allow Him to work in your life or not.
Sometimes you do not really know how far you have gone in your sin.
Just because you can still function does not mean that you do not have leprosy in your life.
No matter how godly you are, leprosy can and will creep up in your life if you are not careful.
Those little things that creep in will get bigger and bigger if it is not dealt with quickly.
- Only God can do
Only God could heal their leprosy.
The world’s answer for leprosy is another rehab program, but that is not the answer and NEVER will be the answer to the world’s problem of leprosy.
God knows all your leprosy; He knows all your sins, even those that no one knows about but you.
You can’t hide leprosy from God.
- Focused on your problem
Jesus focused on them and no one else.
Jesus did not compare them to other lepers in the village.
God will deal with you and your sin. He will NOT compare your leprosy to someone else’s leprosy.
Your problem is you are good at justifying the leprosy in your life.
Let God focus on your problems, your leprosy.
When leprosy is not important to you it will take start to cover more and more of your body.
You are the best at hiding your leprosy, but one day it will be seen.
The lepers never asked Him to take the leprosy away; they knew He knew where they were and what their problem was.
Your problem is your fault; your problem is not someone else’s problem.
- That will put you on a different path
Get rid of leprosy and you will get a different path for your life.
Get away from it; do not let it suck you in further than it has already.
- That follows you the rest of your life.
There was one that it followed for the rest of his days.
When leprosy stops, worship will begin in your life.
You need to get your leprosy to be cured; it needs to be made whole.
Be made whole and you will never forget that day. It will follow you until the day you die.
